• Service transit buses
  • Shop maintenance
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance on all vehicles
  • Complete paperwork, sign-off on all repairs and inspections
  • Perform yard duty as instructed
  • Perform on-road service calls and switch-off vehicles as required
  • Other duties as assigned



  • 310T Truck and Coach Mechanics’ License in good standing
  • Valid CZ Driver’s License and clean Driver’s Abstract in good standing
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to diagnose and rectify faults
  • Experience in repairing hydraulic and electrical systems
  • Experience repairing transit buses is an asset
  • Your own set of tools and toolbox
  • Must have green patch CSA approved safety boots
  • Able to wear required personal protective equipment and use appropriate safety equipment to complete job tasks in a safe manner
  • Able to work outside and in all weather conditions
  • Knowledge of the O.H. & S. Act and Regulations, including WHMIS, and the Ministry of Transportation Highway Traffic Act is preferred
  • Must be able to work in a unionized environment on various shifts
  • Able to work shifts and variable hours
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Physical ability to reach, bend and lift
  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment and work in inclement weather
  • Excellent team player
